NSTA - National Science Teaching Association: This is the largest association for science educators in the United States. 

USTA - Utah Science Teachers Association: If you want to be part of science education in Utah, start with this organization. 

AAAS - American Association for the Advancement of Science: Like the NSTA above this national organization promotes science education and the Next Generation Science Standards (see link in the curriculum section below).
