Utah Science Education Elementary Advisory Team

Member (2019-Present). I am currently a sitting member on the Elementary Science Advisory Team for the state of Utah. As a team member, I participate in ongoing discussions related to Utah's SEEd (Science and Engineering Education) curriculum and help the team created professional development opportunities for K-8 educators in the state of Utah. Volunteer (2012-2019).  Royal British Museum of British Columbia:  I have been working as a docent in the natural history and dinosaur galleries of the museum.  In addition to these, I have been developing a mobile app for the museum.

Volunteer (2012).  Elizabeth Buckley School:  I have been advising the school on how to integrate science education using a STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, "the Arts", and Mathematics) based approach.  My work includes the design and delivery of professional development workshop and ongoing advice to the faculty as a science education mentor.
